Deep 50 hosts certified, independent instructors for concealed carry certification, firearms fundamentals and advanced skills. Group and private instruction is available for every level, from first-time shooters to competitors.

John Johnson
John founded Gulf Coast Defense 13 years ago to help shooters of all ages build skill, confidence and enjoyment, whether their focus is personal defense, competition or a fun day at the range.
His certified instruction pairs fundamentals with live marksmanship for first-time shooters and experienced gun owners, with personalized attention at every skill level. Local knowledge, local ranges: serving Fort Myers to Naples.

Kevin Creighton
Kevin is a gun owner, gun writer and competitive shooter who runs Quietly Armed. He works full-time for the world’s largest firearms training organization and has written for Beretta.com, American Hunter, Shooting Illustrated and NRA Family.
He brings hundreds of hours of his own training into every class, with one goal: making sure people who choose to carry are truly prepared and safe, every day.
